A Broward Sheriff's Office deputy's pursuit led to a crash in Miami Gardens just before midnight Thursday.

According to the arrest report, the chase started when the driver of a white Cadillac, identified as Zachary Moorin, 34, made an illegal u-turn on Hallandale Beach Boulevard.

When deputies tried to pull him over, Moorin sped off, launching his car in their direction, the report said.

Deputies pursued the car south on Interstate 95 into Miami-Dade County.

"I'm so shocked," she told Local 10.
