Pedestrian killed in crash in Liberty Twp.

A female was apparently struck and killed in a pedestrian crash in Liberty Twp. shortly after midnight Saturday.

Emergency crews responded at 12:15 a.m. and discovered the victim lying near the roadway to the 5500 block of Cincinnati Dayton Road, according to the Butler County Sheriff's Office.

The female was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity was not released pending notification of family.

The sheriff's office continues to investigate and did not release any other details about what happened.
