Kenton County , KY : 19- Years old man was killed after his vehicle rolled onto its side in Kenton County on wednesday , December 24th 2014

A 19-year-old man from Northern Kentucky died after a crash in Kenton County early Wednesday.

Lindsey Ferguson, of Morning View, traveled off the side of the road on Decoursey Pike before 4:30 a.m., according to a news release from the Kenton County Police Department.

Ferguson hit a drainage culvert and his vehicle rolled onto its side before coming to rest in the grass on the other side of the road.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

No one else was in the vehicle. Authorities closed Decoursey Pike near Washboard Road for several hours to investigate the crash.

The intersection of Decoursey and Washboard is about 14 miles east of Walton.

The incident remains under investigation.
