Lyons, CO : Estes Park woman killed in rollover crash on U.S. 36 on Tuesday, 10th September 2019

An 80-year-old woman from Estes Park was killed in a rollover crash on U.S. 36 this afternoon, according to a Colorado State Patrol Trooper.

The crash occurred just after 12:00 p.m. at mile marker seven on U.S. 36 just east of Estes Park, according to Trooper Josh Lewis.

Lewis said the woman was driving a 2016 Subaru but the cause of the crash is still being investigated.

No other vehicles or parties were involved in the crash, Lewis said.

Lewis said speed, drugs or alcohol have not been ruled out as contributing factors.

Highway 36 is closed in both directions as a result of the crash.
