Kansas City, MO :Two accidents tangle traffic on I-70 on Friday, July 3rd 2015

Two accidents on Interstate-70 are tangling traffic Friday night.Police said two separate accidents, both occurring around 9:30 p.m. and both on I-70 westbound just east of downtown Kansas City, have sent numerous people to the hospital and have closed several lanes of the highway.The most serious accident occurred at I-70 and Prospect where a vehicle collided with a motorcycle. The motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries.The second accident, at I-70 and Brooklyn, involved to motorcycles. Neither motorcyclist suffered severe injuries.Crews are expected to be on the scene till 10:30 p.m..
