Gordo, AL :Northport woman killed in crash near Gordo on Friday, July 3rd 2015

A multiple-vehicle crash on Highway 82 near Gordo resulted in a fatality.The Alabama State Troopers say the wreck involved three vehicles just west of Gordo about 6:00 p.m. Friday.Trooper Reginal King says Jane Roebuck Drake, 80, of Northport, was killed when the vehicle she was driving collided with a tractor-trailer truck.Drake's vehicle also collided with a vehicle before crashing into the big rig, says Trooper King.Drake was pronounced dead at the scene, and the tractor trailer truck driver was transported to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.The truck driver is from Northport, and the driver of the car, who is from Florida, was not injured.
