Sullivan County, IN :Officials report minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash in Sullivan County on Wednesday, July 1st 2015

Indiana State Police and Sullivan County officials responded to a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning in Sullivan County.The accident happened just before 9:15 a.m. in the southbound lanes of U.S. 41 at County Road 200 North near Sullivan.Officials state a 2008 Ford F-150 driven by Sonner Faught, 90 of Sullivan, was traveling eastbound on County Road 200 North. Faught was attempting to cross the southbound lanes of U.S. 41, but in doing this drove into the path of a southbound vehicle.The southbound vehicle was driven by Lisa M. Smith, 46 of Marshall.Faught was taken to the Sullivan County Community Hospital with what officials believe are non-life threatening injuries.Smith was also taken to the Sullivan County Community Hospital by family members for a ‘post-crash’ examination.Her injuries are also believed to be minor.No citations were issued.
