PORT BYRON, IL : 2 children, 1 adult injured in crash near Riverdale schools on Thursday, 19th September 2024

Three people, including two children, were injured in a crash near Riverdale schools Thursday morning, according to officials.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of 94th Avenue N. and 256th Street N. (County Road S.). A sedan was traveling north on 256th and a box truck was heading east on 94th when the two vehicles collided at the intersection, the Rock Island County Sheriff's Office said.
