BISMARCK, ND : Man dies in crash near Bismarck on 97th Avenue NW on Sunday, 2nd September 2018

A 76-year-old man was pronounced dead after a one-person crash at 10:17 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2 on 97th Avenue NW, about 5 miles northwest of Bismarck.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the man's vehicle was traveling eastbound on 97th Avenue NW, a quarter mile west of Highway 1804. His vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and entered the south ditch, where it struck two large trees. The vehicle, a 2014 Chevrolet Impala, was totaled. The crash remains under investigation.
