WALLINGFORD, CT : A woman was hospitalized after a crash on Wednesday, May 31, 2017

A woman was hospitalized after a crash on Route 5 Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency crews were dispatched about 12:50 p.m. to the area of 326 S. Colony Road, near the Citgo gas station and Food Bag convenience store.

According to dispatch reports, a woman may have suffered a medical issue before or during the crash. Police said the woman was taken to an area hospital. No further details were immediately available.
