JONESBORO, AR : A crash near the intersection with Kellers Chapel Road on Monday, 27th August 2018

A Jonesboro man is dead and a woman injured after a two-car accident at a northeast Arkansas intersection Monday afternoon, State Police say.

According to a preliminary crash report, a 2013 Honda vehicle was traveling along Southwest Drive in Jonesboro near the intersection with Kellers Chapel Rd. as a 2014 Chevrolet was driving on Kellers Chapel Rd.
Authorities say the Honda went through the intersection when the Chevrolet hit it, killing 20-year-old James Ray who was driving the Honda.
The 19-year-old Chevrolet driver was also injured in the crash. She was taken to St. Bernard's hospital for her injuries.
