Springville, TN : Passenger killed, driver injured after crash in Henry County on Wednesday afternoon, June 24, 2015

The investigation continues into a deadly crash in Henry County that happened Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol report, a pickup truck veered off Buchanan Resort Road and hit mailboxes and a tree near Howell Loop.

The passenger in the truck, 56-year-old Anthony Chadwick, died in the crash.

The driver, 33-year-old Daxon Ferguson, was injured. There is no word on the severity of his injuries.

Neither of the men were wearing their seat belts, according to the report. Officials said they believe this would have made a difference.

Criminal charges have not been filed.
