A 3-year-old girl riding in a car that crashed on Interstate 95 in Prince George’s County this week has died, authorities said Tuesday. Maryland State Police say the toddler was in a Toyota Corolla that was going south on I-95 near Maryland State Route 198 when the driver lost control and crossed four lanes of traffic shortly before 7:15 p.m. Monday. The car then hit several trees, stopping about 50 feet in the woods, police said in a written statement. Authorities said they are still investigating the cause of the crash. Two adults and a 7-month-old baby, who were trapped in the car for several minutes along with the toddler, were transported to area hospitals with serious injuries, authorities said.
