Two injured children were flown from the scene of a Boone County crash Monday afternoon.

It happened near Camp Ernst and Blue Stem in Burlington, Ky. Authorities say a vehicle went left of center after making a turn, and in trying to correct its path ended up in the opposite lane of traffic.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision. Authorities say three people were hospitalized.

Two of them were children who were flown from the scene. One of the children suffered life-threatening injures in the crash, and the other was seriously injured, authorities said.
