Volusia County, FL : One woman died and two people injured when car collided with a Volkswagen Beetle on U.S. 92 near Daytona Beach on Saturday morning, December 26, 2015

A crash on U.S. 92 near Daytona Beach killed one woman and injured two people Saturday morning.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a woman in a Toyota Corolla was driving the wrong way on the highway when her car collided with a Volkswagen Beetle.

The driver of the Toyota died at the scene. Her name has not been released.

Rachel Horne and Rebecca Horne, the two women in the Volkswagen, suffered serious injuries.

Westbound lanes of U.S. 92 near Red John Road were closed temporarily Saturday.

Highway Patrol officials said alcohol was not a factor. The investigation is ongoing.
