Chicago, IL : 2 dead, 3 seriously hurt in West Town crash on Sunday, March 26th 2017
Two people were killed and three others were seriously injured when their Dodge Durango hit a building in the West Town neighborhood early Sunday, Chicago police and fire officials said.
The crash occurred about 4:50 a.m. in the 2600 block of West Fulton Street. The Durango, driving quickly west on Fulton, crashed into a yellow brick building just west of Talman Avenue.
Two women were pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other people, two men and a woman, were taken to Stroger Hospital in serious-to-critical condition. Their exact ages were not available, but Fire Department officials said all five people were between 20 and 30 years old.
Information was not immediately available about the circumstances of the crash.
