ALBION, PA : A Conneaut Lake man was killed when his vehicle went out of control on Route 18 on May, Sunday 7th 2017

A Conneaut Lake man was pronounced dead after his vehicle hit a utility pole and a tree Saturday night in Conneaut Township south of Albion.

State police at Girard identified the man as Michael L. Rash, 41.Police said Rash was driving a 2009 Ford Edge south on Route 18 a little south of Pennside Road on Saturday at 11:30 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle. The Ford went off the east side of the road, striking the pole and tree, police said.

Erie County Deputy Coroner Nick Rekitt pronounced Rash dead at the scene, police said.
