WINDSOR TWP, PA : 3 hurt when 15 vehicles crash in whiteout conditions on I-78 on Wednesday, 30th January 2019

Wintry weather provided another close call for motorists on Interstate 78 in northern Berks County on Wednesday.

Whiteout conditions contributed to a crash involving 15 vehicles, including multiple tractor-trailers, in the westbound lanes of I-78 near milepost 32.4 in Windsor Township. That's between the Lenhartsville and Hamburg interchanges.

The pileup happened shortly before 3 p.m. I-78 has since reopened.
