Longboat Key,FL : Main road on Longboat Key reopens after fatal crash on Tuesday, 8th May 2018

A fatal crash shut down the main road in this town for hours on Tuesday.

According to a tweet from the Town of Longboat Key, Gulf of Mexico Drive was closed near Whitney Beach Shopping Center. The road opened again shortly before 1 p.m. after the fatal crash, which happened before 8 a.m., was investigated.
