WASHINGTON COUNTY, WI : Person seriously hurt in crash on I-41 southbound near Holy Hill on July, Saturday 1st 2017 Road

One person was seriously hurt in a rollover crash Saturday morning on Interstate 41 southbound near Holy Hill Road.

The Germantown Fire Department said when firefighters arrived, they found a car on its roof with one person trapped.

They extricated the person with the help of two Racine firefighters and a doctor who were driving by.

Flight for Life took the person to Froedtert Hospital.

All of the lanes reopened by 3 p.m.

The Department of Transportation said there were backups of more than 3 miles.
