LAPORTE COUNTY, IN : 92-year-old dies in LaPorte County crash on Sunday, 19th May 2024

A 92-year-old LaPorte woman has died from her injuries in a crash Sunday afternoon in LaPorte County.

The crash happened just before 2 p.m. in the 8300 block of W. County Road 400 North in rural Coolspring Township.

According to the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office, an Audi was heading east on County Road 400 North when it crossed into the opposite lane and crashed into a westbound Subaru.

A passenger in the Subaru, identified as 92-year-old Carol Lukes, was taken to the hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
