An 85-year-old Columbia City man died Sunday from injuries he received in a two-car crash in Whitley County on Saturday afternoon. According to a release from the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department, Frank D. Boggs was driving west in a 1999 Buick on County Road 400 North in the area of Indiana 109 at around 4:50 p.m. when the driver’s side of his car was hit by a Dodge van going north on Indiana 109. Boggs’ wife and passenger, Sherrill D. Boggs, 78, has been upgraded from critical condition to fair.
