HENRY COUNTY, VA : Henry Co Sheriff identifies victim killed on Summit on Monday, 23rd October 2023

The Henry County Sheriff’s office has released the identity of the victim from an ongoing homicide investigation that occurred early morning on Oct. 23.

According to police, when Henry County Deputies arrived on the scene, they found 46-year-old Michael Jerome Hairston deceased inside the apartment. The manner and cause of death are currently unknown. Mr. Hairston’s body has been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Roanoke for a full autopsy.
