Dayton, OH : Car crashes into bedroom of Dayton home on Monday morning, January 4, 2016

A car crashed into a home on Woodbine Avenue Monday morning.

It happened just after 9 Monday morning in the 4900 block of Woodbine Avenue in Dayton.

Fire officials on the scene tell 2 NEWS the driver struck a pole and went through two yards before going through the bedroom of a house. Fire officials tell 2 NEWS the driver admitted to drinking Monday morning, however police don’t believe alcohol was involved.

A woman inside the home was in another room when the car came through her bedroom. The woman was not injured in the crash.

The driver was taken to Miami Valley with a head injury. Emergency crews say he was in stable condition. Police charged him with multiple citations, including driving under suspension.
