WICHITA, KS : 1 dead, 3 injured in early Monday morning crash on SB I-135 on Monday, 1st March 2021

Tuesday, March 2, 2021 - The Kansas Highway Patrol has identified the man who died in Monday’s fatal crash on I-135.

Jessie Johnson, 60, died at the scene after an alleged drunken driver rear-ended his vehicle and sent it over the I-135 overpass at 13th Street.

According to Sedgwick County Jail records, Luis Ramos-Tafolla was arrested after the incident for driving under the influence, vehicular homicide, reckless driving, and other related charges.
