Easton, PA : Easton man killed in crash involving Palmer police car on Sunday, 21st October 2018

A Palmer Township police car collided with another vehicle Monday on Nazareth Road near the Palmer Park Mall, killing an Easton man.

County Coroner Zachary Lysek identified the man as Julio Flores, 83. He said Flores died of multiple blunt force injuries and the manner of death was accidental.

Palmer Township police Chief Larry Palmer said in an email the officer was responding to a call and the car’s lights and sirens were on. State police, who are investigating the crash, did not identify the officer by name but listed him as a 43-year-old man in a news release.
