Springfield, IL : Both lanes of I-55 south shut down near Stevenson Drive after crash on Thursday, 7th March 2024

Illinois State Police responded to a crash on Interstate 55 south near milepost 94 (Stevenson Drive) Thursday morning.

Both lanes were shut down while and reopened around 8:30 a.m.

ISP said that one person was transported to a hospital in the two-vehicle crash. No further injuries have been reported.
