Owensboro, KY : One person dead after a crash in Daviess County on Monday, September 19, 2016

One person is dead after a crash in Daviess County.

It happened just before 9 a.m. Monday in the 9600 block of U.S. 431.

Sheriff's deputies say the driver of a Chevy Cavalier crossed the center line and hit a pickup truck head-on.

The pickup truck driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Cavalier was taken to the hospital, where she later died.

The victim's name has not been released yet. A toxicology test is pending.
