Gastonia, NC : Moped driver killed in Wrong-way crash in Gaston County on Wednesday morning, December 23, 2015

A moped driver traveling on the wrong side of the road was hit and killed by an SUV in Gaston County Wednesday morning, Time Warner Cable reports.

Police say the moped driver was traveling on the wrong side of Union Road. The SUV reportedly tried to swerve out of the way.

No charges are expected to be filed, TWC reports.

The victim's name has not been released.
