Rollover in Des Moines County results in death

A single-car roll over left one man dead in Des Moines County.Emergency officials responded to the rollover at about 10:37 a.m. on Nov. 8 at Y Camp Road and 90th Avenue, according to the Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office press release.When officials arrived, they found the driver, 46-year-old Marc Buhmeyer of Burlington, dead.An Iowa State Patrol investigation of the crash found that Buhmeyer’s 1999 Ford Expedition left the road when he was approaching a curve east of Dry Branch Creek. The car rolled multiple times before landing in the bed of the creek, according to the release.
Buhmeyer was the only person in the car at the time of the crash.
