SEARSBURG, VT : Tractor-trailers crash in Searsburg on Tuesday, 16th October 2018

wo tractor-trailer drivers escaped injury in a crash early Tuesday morning, officials said.Alonzo Harris, 25, of Schenectady, New York, was operating a 2012 Freightliner tractor-trailer at about 5:15 a.m. when he failed to yield for a 1988 Kenworth tractor trailer he was following, according to a press release from the Vermont State Police, Shaftsbury Barracks.

Wayne Smith, 47, of Newbury, Vermont, had turned on his right directional to turn onto Lind Lane.

Harris then crashed into the rear of Smith's trailer, causing minor damage to Smith's trailer and significant damage to the front end of his truck.

Harris' truck was towed due to disabling damage.
