PINELLAS COUNTY, FL : 1 hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, 3 with serious injuries after ambulance crash in Largo on Saturday, 18th May 2024

One person is fighting for his life and three others are seriously injured after a man crashed into an ambulance in Largo early Saturday morning.

Willie Lee Daniels, 41, was driving his BMW X1 at 2:44 a.m. when deputies pulled him over for a traffic violation. Daniels initially stopped but then quickly made a U-turn and took off. After, the deputy didn't pursue him and resumed normal driving, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
