Lakewood, NJ : Fire chief has died in a motorcycle accident on Sunday August 10th 2014

A Lakewood fire chief has died in a motorcycle accident. Police Sgt. Frank Work tells the Asbury Park Press 52-year-old David "Rudy" gaines was traveling in the right lane when 28-year-old Aurohom Zeffren of Lakewood tried to change lanes. Work says Zeffren told authorities he did not see Gaines. Gainess was chief of the Ridgeway Volunteer Fire Department. The accident remains under investigation.
