DEWITT, IA : 1 dead after Clinton County crash on Sunday, 5th May 2024

One person is dead after a crash in Clinton County.

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened on Highway 30 where 330th Avenue intersects with the divided highway east of DeWitt.

When first-responders arrived at about 9 p.m. Sunday, they found a car and a small SUV in the median west of the intersection.

The driver and passenger of a Toyota Prius and the driver of a Pontiac Vibe were taken to Mercy North Hospital in Clinton. The driver of the Prius died at the hospital. The identification of driver is being withheld as the family is being notified.
