Cambridge, OH : Two injured in Route 313 crash on Thursday September 15 2016

The Ohio State Highway Patrol continued to investigate a two-vehicle crash on Route 313 Thursday afternoon that injured two Derwent residents.

Billie West, 35, and Diana Reasoner, 66, were transported to Southeastern Med by United Ambulance following the accident at approximately 2:10 p.m. Both were treated in the emergency department at the Cambridge hospital and later released.

Both drivers sustained non-incapaciating injuries in the accident. Additional information regarding the injuries and treatment was not available as of press time Friday.

According to the patrol's Cambridge post, Reasoner was westbound on Route 313 near mile post 10 driving a 2005 Ford Taurus when she tried to turn left into a private driveway. Reasoner reportedly field to yield the right of way to a 2006 Ford Focus driven by West, striking the right front of the Focus.Both vehicles came to rest in a lot adjacent to the driveway following the collision.The vehicles sustained extensive damage.
