POLLOCK, SD : Man dies in rollover crash in northern South Dakota on Saturday, November 12th 2016
The state Highway Patrol says one man died and two other were injured in a rollover crash Saturday in northern South Dakota.
The Highway Patrol on Sunday said the three men were in a pickup truck that went into the ditch and rolled around 10:40 p.m. Saturday after the driver failed to negotiate a curve on state Highway 1804. The incident happened five miles north of Pollock.
Authorities say a 29-year-old passenger was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. The 23-year-old driver sustained minor injuries, while a 17-year-old passenger suffered what authorities described as life-threatening injuries. Both were transported to a North Dakota hospital.
The Highway Patrol says none of the three men were wearing seatbelts. Their names have not been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
