BIRMINGHAM, AL : 21-year-old man killed in Ensley homicide The Birmingham in the 900 block of 58th Street Ensley on Thursday, 18th April 2024

A 21-year-old man was shot and killed in Ensley Thursday afternoon.

The victim has been identified as Anthony Lambert Jr. of Birmingham.

West Precinct officers were dispatched to a shot spotter alert at 4:20 p.m. in the 5700 block of Court I. While en route, officers were updated that a person was lying unresponsive in the front yard of a home on 58th Street in Ensley.

Upon arrival, officers saw Lambert in the front yard suffering from visible signs of trauma. He died at the scene.
