Kankakee,IL : Bourbonnais woman dies in Peotone crash on March, Thursday 15th 2018

Marissa Grant, 18, of Bourbonnais, died of injuries sustained after a one-vehicle accident on Peotone-Wilmington Road around half a mile west of Center Road.

Grant was going eastbound Thursday night when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a utility pole, according to the Will County Sheriff’s Office. She was transported to Presence St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, then airlifted to Loyola University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead Friday.

Grant was a graduate of Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School, a student at Kankakee Community College and a dental assistant at Bradley Dental. A memorial service is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes Inc. in Bourbonnais
