PAWLET, VT : 72-year-old man dies in ATV crash on Wednesday, 10th July 2019

A Vermont man has died in an ATV crash.

Around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, troopers from the Vermont State Police were called to Vermont Route 30 in Pawlet and informed that Richard Morey, 72, had taken his ATV out for a ride earlier in the day and never returned home.Authorities discovered Morey's body in the woods and determined he had lost control of the ATV, and rolled it down an embankment.

Troopers were assisted by the Pawlet Fire Department and Granville Rescue on scene.
