Brainerd,MN : Brainerd woman injured in deer versus car crash on September, Friday 1st 2017
A 58-year-old Brainerd woman was injured Friday when the passenger car she was driving struck a deer on Highway 210, east of Pillager in Sylvan Township in Cass County.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported Ruth W. Hallin was traveling east on Highway 210 in a Volkswagen Passat, when she swerved to miss a deer, left the roadway and rolled.
Hallin was transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd for non-life-threatening injuries. Hallin was wearing her seat belt, the state patrol reported.
The road conditions were wet at the time of the crash reported at 8:11 p.m.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office assisted the state patrol at the scene.
