Brooksville, ME : Man dead in truck crash Hancock County on Thursday October 15 2015

Authorities say a Maine man is dead after a truck he was driving crashed into a tree.
The Hancock County Sheriff's office says 36-year-old Cory Betts of Deer Isle was driving on Caterpillar Hill Road in Brooksville when he missed a corner. The truck veered off the road and struck a large tree.
The crash was reported around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.
Authorities say Betts was not wearing a seat belt.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
