North Port, NY: 25-year-old girl Killed after she was struck by a truck while crossing a street near Bayview Avenue on Saturday, 15th November 2014

Police say a 15-year-old Staten Island girl has been killed after she was struck by a truck while crossing a street. Police say Jenna Daniels was pronounced dead at a hospital after being rushed by emergency workers following the 2:40 p.m. accident on Saturday. They say a preliminary investigation has found a 38-year-old man driving a black Ford F-150 turned left on Bayview Avenue as Daniels was crossing the street. They say the driver stayed at the scene as Daniels suffered from severe head trauma. No arrests have been made.
