Las Vegas, NV : Pedestrian seriously injured in hit-and-run crash on late Thursday, May 15, 2014

Authorities have apprehended a driver who struck a pedestrian late Thursday and fled the scene, according to Metro Police.

The hit-and-run crash happened around 10:10 p.m. at Lamb Boulevard and Owens Avenue, said Lt. Roger Price.

The victim was transported to University Medical Center in serious condition.

It is unknown at this time if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash, Price said.
