Joplin, MO : A Florida truck driver was injured in a single-vehicle accident on February, Monday 12th 2018

A Florida truck driver was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 4:15 p.m. Monday on Interstate 44, about 6 miles east of Mount Vernon in Lawrence County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Janet R. Steverson, 61, of Winter Haven, Florida, was taken to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield with moderate injuries.

Steverson was driving an eastbound rig that ran off the roadway, striking the median cable, overturning and coming to rest on its side, the patrol said.
