A 44-year-old New Bedford woman died Friday morning when her car went off the road and struck a tree on Interstate 195, state police said. State troopers from the Dartmouth barracks responded to the accident shortly before 8 a.m. and determined the driver of a 2006 Mazda 6 to be deceased, according to a news release from the state police.
