BOSWELL, IN : 18-year-old killed on U.S. 41 on the east edge of Boswell on Tuesday, 26th November, 2019

A teen from Reynolds was killed Tuesday night when she was thrown from her car in a crash on U.S. 41 on the east edge of Boswell, Indiana State Police said.

Police report that Natalie Ramos, 18, of Reynolds died in the crash that happened at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday at U.S. 41 and Indiana 352.

Police say Ramos was going east on Indiana 352 and failed to yield at U.S. 41. Her 1997 GMC Jimmy was hit by a semi being driven north on U.S. 41 by Matthew Vice, 40, of Westville, Illinois.

Police say Ramos was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from her SUV, into the median. She died from her injuries on the scene, police said. Police said it was raining hard and the pavement was wet during the crash.
