MADISON, AL : Driver injured after garbage truck plows into Madison home on Friday, 5th July 2024

First responders say the driver of a garbage truck was taken to the hospital Friday after his truck left the road and plowed directly into a Madison home.

Police say it happened around 11 a.m., when a fire inspector noticed the Republic Services truck sideswiping curbs along Sullivan Street. The truck reportedly narrowly avoided hitting one house before it crashed directly into the front of a home on Grayson Avenue.
