Casa Grande, AZ: One Killed in Tractor and other vehcle Crash On I-10 on Thursday Morning- 23rd October,2014

A tractor-trailer rig crossed Interstate 10's median and collided with another vehicle in a fatal accident that closed the highway about halfway between Phoenix and Tucson for hours. The accident occurred about 5 a.m. Thursday near Casa Grande. Westbound lanes were reopened about four hours later and eastbound lanes around 1 p.m., causing long delays in travel toward Tucson. Arizona Department of Public Safety officials say a westbound big rig crossed over into the eastbound lanes. One person in the other vehicle was killed, but authorities didn't immediately identify the victim. Television helicopter video showed one heavily damaged vehicle on the shoulder and the truck on its side off the highway.
