FRANKLIN COUNTY, IL : 2 flown to hospital after crash near Thompsonville, IL on Tuesday, 19th February 2019

Franklin County, Illinois deputies responded to a crash with serious injuries on Tuesday, Feb. 19.
Accordng to Sheriff David Bartoni, it happened around 7:40 p.m. near McClerren Road in Thompsonville.
A Thompsonville man was driving west on Number 9 blacktop and failed to negotiate a curve.
The man went off the roadway with his vehicle hitting several trees.
The vehicle sustained major damage.
The driver and an occupant had major injuries and was life-flighted to an area hospital.
The crash is under investigation.
