Urban Estates, FL : Bonita Springs man killed in crash along Vanderbilt Beach Road at Wilshire Lakes Boulevard on Sunday, 22nd March, 2020

A Bonita Springs man was killed Sunday night in a one-car crash along Vanderbilt Beach Road at Wilshire Lakes Boulevard.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Benedict Reycroft, 59, was driving a 2014 Toyota Corolla north on Village Walk Circle approaching Vanderbilt Beach.Reycroft drove north through the intersection and the front of his Toyota struck a curb and then struck the wall to the entrance of Wilshire Lakes Residential Community.

He was taken to Physicians Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The FHP said he was wearing a seatbelt.
